About Us
Luis Rosado, Owner of Harmony Dog Training, is a CGV Evaluator, a year-long program that certifies experiences, skills, and patience for dogs.
Caring for Dogs for Over 20 Years
(IACP) Luis began his career with animals as a Veterinarian Technician when he was fourteen years old. His experience ranges from small animal veterinarian clinics to urgent care. He was also an Animal Control Officer for the Town of Warren.
Expanding specifically into dog training six years ago, he has earned his Canine Good Citizen (CGC) Evaluator Certification. This year-long program, with a year-long program that must be renewed every two-years.
CGC Evalutors are approved through the American Kennel Club (AKC) to train dogs in the ten CGC skills that teaches good manners to dogs and responsible dog ownership to their owners; CGC Evaluators are also certified to administer the test.
In addition, Luis is a member of the International Associate of Canine Professionals (IACP), an organization focused on supporting members to properly use and promote effective, humane training tools and methods to create success for each dog and owner.
Luis and his daughter have three dogs of their own, Chelsea, a pitbull, Puff, the infamous Chihuahua, and the newest addition, Nala, a Belgian Melanois who will one day attend and participate in sport work.
We are devoted to teaching dogs how to access a calm state of mind and live harmoniously in their surroundings. Our training method utilizes multiple methods tailored to each dog and owner meant for real-world situations to bring out each dog’s full potential.
