Our dog Orion is a lovable but anxious pup. We had tried training classes and private training in the past, but nothing seem to help. After lesson with Harmony, we can now enjoy time with Orion and know that we have learned the tools to help him (and us) be successful. Best yet, we can use the same skills with our other dog, Artemis.

Luis is great at what he does. He loves his job and it clearly shows. He is precise in his teaching methods and if you listen and are consistent with the training you will end up with a great well behaved dog. I highly recommend Harmony Dog Training. My dog can now go anywhere.

Baharik Voccia2023-09-02I don't even know where to begin ... we have or I should say HAD 2 very reactive frenchies who would get so worked up that they would attack each other. It was a nightmare and we just couldn't take them out together. I had been given advice to rehome one of them I reached out to Luis and the first thing he said to me was "No way, we don't give up on our kids that easily" and I was sold! Within the first 10 minutes of meeting my boys there was an immediate difference. We were able to get the boys somewhat functional through some coaching leading up to their board and train. Luis put out many many fires for me when we were waiting to send the boys haha (sorry Luis!). When it was time to send them away, I was nervous and from the moment I took them in, I felt so much better. Madison helped get them settled at drop off and I have to say, she has such an amazing calming demeanor. She was super helpful and chatting with her made me feel even better about the decision to send them for the training. The boys got to do training in real world situations and the updates of them throughout the session was probably one of my favorite parts! I referred to the board and train as "summer camp" lol because they not only learned how to be dignified gents but had fun while doing it!! We also absolutely loved the fact that Luis has veterinary knowledge ... you know they will always be safe and with frenchies especially ... you need someone that gets the special needs they have. We're honestly FLOORED by the leaps and bounds they have made. We're able to be out and about ... other animals, people, and even loud noises were triggers for them and we can actually take them places now!! I will recommend Luis and the Harmony team until my face turns blue!! I cannot express how amazing this whole experience was! If you're thinking about it, consider this your push and just do it!!

Meralise Conley-Zacks2023-05-22Luis and his team were fantastic for our 8 year old pit bull pup, Angus! He did a 2 week board and train program with K9, and we are very satisfied with the results, and all around kindness from Luis. Angus has been with us since he was 5 week old puppy. Always has been a great dog....but definitely needed some work in certain areas. Last year our very energetic 4 year old little boy really tested Angus and his patience. Luis ruled out any aggression in Angus towards humans (children) and dogs. Which has been quite a relief. Angus being a pretty big guy, we were taught the correct gear for him, collar, to take him on walks, and how to show Angus who is in charge, correcting him. He was quite the puller. They recognized arthritis is Angus's hips, got him on a good supplement. Not only did Luis and his team really care for Angus, they also helped us trim his nails and give him a bath. Something he's always gave us trouble in. Luis is very knowledgeable, and he also was a vet tech for years. Angus was in safe hands with someone we trust! 100% recommend K9 Harmony!
Katie Milson2023-05-15Luis and his team at Harmony set you up for a successful experience. You bring your dog knowing that they will be cared for and loved just the way you want. Luis' training style not just teaches your dog, but teaches you to teach your dog also. Be prepared for tough love, Luis doesn’t sugar coat anything. He’s big on saying it how it is to ensure client success. My dog went from fearful and reactive to being able to take her for long hikes and being able to bring her out in public around other dogs and people in places like Garden City, Home Depot, and Rocky Point. William Corwin2023-05-115 years ago I contacted Luis to help me train my very bright but often very stubborn English Springer Spaniel. After 2 months of home visits and his substantial effort to re-train me on how to train a puppy ( I had been doing it very wrong over 6 dogs and 40 years), my pup became AKC Good Citizen certified and has gone on to be Pet Therapy certified.
